為慶祝新加坡國慶,屢獲殊榮的自助餐餐廳 The Market 將於 8 月 5 日至 11 日一連七天推出星洲美食主題自助餐。
薈萃多元種族文化的新加坡一向都是愛好美食之人的熱門旅遊勝地,酒店環亞美食廚師及曾任職 於新加坡多年的馬來西亞籍李淑光師傅特意搜羅新鮮食材及香料,由小販攤檔風味的湯麵、香濃 咖哩,到誘人的海鮮,保證讓饗客嚐盡新加坡特色美饌。
當中不少得多款精緻小食如娘惹海蜇沙律、參巴醬蝦乾四角豆沙律、潮州薄餅卷、炭燒蕉葉魚肉 拼雞羊肉沙嗲串,以及多款經典星馬菜式如椰汁喇沙、肉碎撈麵、福建肉骨茶、巴東牛肉和星洲 辣椒炒蟹等,還有一系列獅城甜品如椰子脆炸香蕉及甜薯、椰汁西米布甸及多款傳統娘惹糕點, 包括香蘭達蘭糕和九層糕等,讓食客深入感受新加坡豐富多彩的飲食文化。
星洲美食主題菜式將於八月連續七天在 The Market 供應,同時餐廳亦會繼續提供廣受歡迎的海南 雞飯、阿拉斯加皇帝蟹腳、北京烤鴨和榴槤甜品等招牌美食,讓食客大快朵頤。

This summer, award-winning restaurant, The Market at Hotel ICON will officially become Hong Kong’s hottest dining destination with the launch of seven sizzling days filled with authentic Singaporean cuisine.
Led by Hotel ICON’s Singaporean Specialty Chef Kelvin Lee, a Malaysian native who has spent most of his career cooking in Singapore’s top hotels, this tempting taste of Singapore will include appetisers, soups, hot dishes, and desserts which reflect the city’s unique cultural convergence of Chinese, Malaysian and Indian cooking.
The dining experience starts with Popiah Fresh Spring Rolls with Mixed Vegetables and Shrimp made à la minute, along with Otak-otak Chicken and Lamb Satay, Nyonya Spicy Jelly Fish Salad and Kerabu Kacang Botol, a Spicy Winged Bean and Shrimp Salad. Next, sizzling soups and noodle dishes take the spotlight with a noodle station dishing up freshly made Peranakan-style Laksa Lemak, Bak Chor Mee, and Hokkien-style Bak Kut Teh, a dark and fragrant soup with a combination of various herbs, spices and light and dark soy sauces. The feast continues with highlights such as the Peranakan Beef Rendang, Singaporean Chilli Crab, and much more. Tempting desserts such as Deep-fried Banana and Sweet Potato Fritters, Sago Pudding with Gula Melaka, Kuih Lapis and Kuih Talam are the ideal finale to this truly mouthwatering feast.
The Singaporean dishes will be showcased in addition to the much-adored selection of sizzling Asian specialties, and favourites such as Hainanese Chicken Rice, Alaskan King Crab Legs, Beijing Roasted Duck and Durian Desserts available on The Market’s award-winning buffet for a week in August 2019.
