您知道「Barbecue」的暱稱是「芭比」嗎?「芭比」對澳洲人來說與小孩玩的芭比娃娃無關,其實就是「Barbecue」的縮寫,也就是當地人週末的傳統燒烤活動。
澳洲人就此發明了經典又具創意的烤雞烹調方法 -「啤酒罐烤雞」。為迎接春夏交替的好時節,THE GRILL露天池畔餐廳將於燒烤自助晚餐時段供應此款經典燒烤菜式。
「啤酒罐烤雞」是將雞隻架於啤酒罐上燒烤而成的菜式,亦被稱為「坐在寶座上的雞」。罐中的啤酒受熱後會慢慢蒸發,不僅能令雞肉充滿水分而保持軟嫩質地,同時又將啤酒的濃郁麥香滲入雞肉,營造獨特風味。燒烤過後的香脆外皮則為整道菜式增添多重口感。
為了配上「啤酒罐烤雞」及現有的烤蜜糖雞翼,啤酒是不可缺少的!當您於池畔盡享「啤酒罐烤雞」的同時,精釀啤酒三輪車及3公升啤酒柱會在場為您提供本地釀造的冰鎮「少爺麥啤」,多種口味可供您自由搭配不同菜餚,為您打造一個輕鬆寫意的晚上。
The Grill露天池畔餐廳位於香港君悅酒店11樓,是城市中心的綠洲。燒烤自助晚餐除了有烤雞與啤酒,還會送上即開生蠔兩隻及家製鵝肝醬、多款新鮮沙律、海鮮冷盤、龍蝦湯及滋味炭烤特選美食例如啤酒烤豬肋排及烤蜜糖雞翼等。

In Australian Slang, “Barbie” has nothing to do with girls’ toy dolls – it simply means “barbecue”, an iconic activity Australians enjoy on the weekends.
With their genius for barbecue, Australians invented an authentic, creative way to cook barbecued chicken – the “Beer Can Chicken”. So this spring, The Grill will add “Beer Can Chicken” in the current menu to kick off the barbecue season!
Also known as “Chicken on the Throne”, meaning placing the chicken on a can, this is a delicious barbecue dish that is made by placing a prepared chicken upright on a half-full can of beer. With the right grill temperature, the beer evaporates and permeates the meat, making it tender and succulent on the inside while crunchy and crisp on the outside.
What’s more, the pairing of barbecued chicken & specialities with local craft beer is an unbeatable combination. While enjoying a laid-back evening by the pool with “Beer Can Chicken” and chargrilled jumbo chicken wings, different flavours of chilled beer from the local craft brewery “Young Master Ales” will flow from the signature Beer Tricycle or three-litre Beer Towers to quench your thirst.
Be the first to experience the ultimate in casual al fresco dining at The Grill, which will include a pair of freshly-shucked oysters and homemade liver pate served to the table, and a lavish selection of fresh and healthy salads, seafood on ice, lobster bisque and other char-grilled specialities such as barbecued beer braised baby back ribs and Jumbo chicken wings with honey mustard.
