Café on M’s popular dinner buffet is back! Luxuriate in the perfect marriage between oysters and sea urchin at Café on M from 5 June to 30 August, featuring more than 8 extravagant food selections with oysters and Canadian red urchin. A jumbo Australian oyster will be served at the table for each guest as the highlight of the evening. Not-to-mention an endless spread of chilled seafood including Canadian Snow Crab Leg, Mussel, Jade Whelk and Fresh Shrimp await guests for their ultimate enjoyment.
Guests can kick-start the sumptuous seafood journey by savouring freshly shucked Fine de Claire oysters from France. Fine de Clair oysters has a higher liquid content and a delicate salty taste. This oyster is particularly appreciated by the consumer who prefers an oyster rich in water and balanced in flavour. In addition to the freshly shucked oysters, other delectable dishes with oysters include Triple Cheese Baked Oysters. Three types of mouth-melting cheese – parmesan cheese, mozzarella cheese and cheddar cheese are adopted to enhance the flavour of the oysters. Oyster with Port Wine Sauce, baked in foil at specific time nightly, is a delicious combination. As soon as guests open the wrapping foil, the fragrant will spread among the restaurant while the oysters remain succulent. Oyster Pancake in Chiu Chow Style is one of the night market favourites in Hong Kong. Fresh oysters mixed with eggs are pan-fried by chef at live cooking station. Do not miss Oyster Fritter in Beer Batter which uses oyster from Hiroshima in Japan coated with batter with beer then deep-fried to achieve a crunchy texture.
Known as a world-class delicacy, red sea urchin from Canada has a delightfully creamy texture and delicate sweetness, and is the largest among the other urchin species in the world. It elevates the flavour of dishes. To savour its original freshness, freshly made Uni Hand Roll and Uni and Ikura Gunkan Sushi are something guests should not miss at the Japanese corner.
Top off this feast with as much as 10 divine desserts made from lychee and mango, which are seasonal in summer, in addition to the much-loved Häagen-Dazs ice cream. Highlights include Black Truffle Mango Cheese Cake, Mango Black Sesame Swiss Roll, Lychee and Lime Chiffon Tart and Lychee Crumble.
