時序漸入初秋,一年一度的大閘蟹季節亦正式宣告開始。金域假日酒店龍苑中菜廳趁這段大閘蟹最肥美當造的季節,由十月一日起應時推出精選江蘇大閘蟹及多款風味獨特的大閘蟹菜式,並誠邀各位食客趁鮮品嚐。
大閘蟹的得名由來,據說是在捕蟹之前,漁民會預先用竹枝和草築成大閘,夜間於竹桿上掛上明燈,並在閘的另一邊佈上魚網,藉燈光吸引蟹群游往,故有大閘蟹之稱。江蘇大閘蟹,蟹膏豐滿甘美,肉質鮮潤甘甜,堪稱海鮮中第一珍味。
要充份品嚐江蘇大閘蟹的原汁鮮味,就不能錯過龍苑的「紫蘇籠仔蒸大閘蟹」或別具風味的「鹽焗大閘蟹」。大閘蟹簡單放於蒸籠蒸熟,進食時配以鎮江醋、薑米調味,其味無窮。完膳後和以薑茶驅寒,又或佐以陳製二十五年的越山仙雕,別有一番雅興。
